Frieze Art Fair London is one of the most influential contemporary art fairs in the world. It is held in October in The Regent’s Park. It only focuses on living artists and contemporary art.
Frieze Art Fair London consists of Frieze London, Frieze Masters and Frieze Sculpture. More than 60,000 are expected to attend Frieze London and Frieze Masters, including art curators, collector and critics, as well as the public.
It makes for a great cultural day out in the heart of the UK capital.
Founded by Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover in 2003, Frieze London’s galleries exhibit some of today’s most exciting artists. Its current director is Eva Langret.
From emerging talent to iconic artists, the gallery showcases some of the best performance-based work as well as exhibitions, mainly post-2000.
The 2022 Frieze Art Fair exhibited work from more than 160 global galleries. No announcement has yet been made on the works to be exhibited at Frieze London 2023.
Frieze Masters is a short walk from Frieze London. It demonstrates the relationship between historical art and contemporary practice, focusing on pre-2000 artwork.

Where is Frieze Art Fair London?
It’s held in The Regent’s Park, London.
Frieze Sculpture is a free display of work in The Regent’s Park’s English Gardens, situated at the south end of The Broadwalk.
Curated by Fatos Üstek, it will be held from 20 September to 29 October 2023. Üstek is an independent curator based in London, who was previously Director of the Liverpool Biennial, and Director of the Roberts Institute of Art.
Frieze London and Frieze Masters are two of five art fairs organised by Frieze, the leading platform for modern and contemporary art. The others are Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze Seoul and Frieze New York.
