If you are looking for things to do around and about London, then why not go for a trip to Blenheim Palace this spring or summer. Starting when the interior of the stately home reopens to the public on 17 May, an exhibition of the work of one of Britain’s most famous fashion photographers opens – Cecil Beaton, Celebrating Celebrity – will be on show.
Long before the advent of the modern celebrity cult, Beaton took iconic photogrphs of the rich and famous, from Hollywood stars to royalty.
Blenheim Palace, a short drive or train ride from London, will have 50 of them in display until 1 August in its magnificent State Rooms.
Celebrities on show include Audrey Hepburn (left) and Barbara Streisand (cover image), in addition to Picasso, Coco Chanel, Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando.

When is Cecil Beaton, Celebrating Celebrity?
The exhibition will run from 17 May to 1 August. Entrance to the exhibition is inclded in a ticket for the Palace, Park and Gardens.
