Belgravia will honour all animals big and little from May 22 to May 29 for its Belgravia in Bloom Festival 2023.
Into the Wild
Following on from the success of Belgravia in Bloom 2022, this year’s theme is Into the Wild. The London district will be transformed into a haven for some of the most stunning and diverse species in the world, all of which have been replicated as brilliant, colourful floral creations. The exhibits, which honour all things furry, feathery, scaly, and creepy crawly, will feature some of the most intriguing and exotic species as well as lesser-known UK fauna, from regal tigers to fragile butterflies.
The eighth annual Belgravia in Bloom event takes place in the same month as the coronation of King Charles III, and coincides with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Several installations will honour the King’s accession to the throne by portraying habitat “kings” and “queens” as royalty.
The renowned florists Neill Strain, Judith Blacklock and Moyses Stevens will bring floral designs to life. Belgravia will become one of London’s most Instagrammable neighbourhoods when its streets are converted into a wonderful wilderness with a variety of spectacular displays.
The festival will feature a variety of flower-related events, deals, and experiences, including Into the Wild themed floral items, cuisines, and drinks, created and hosted by Belgravia’s top florists, charming shops, and restaurants. Where Is Belgravia?
Belgravia covers parts of the areas of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and the City of Westminster. Primarily to the south-west of Buckingham Palace, it is – at least in theory – bordered by Sloane Street (west), Pimlico Road (south), Grosvenor Place and Buckingham Palace Road (east) and Knightsbridge (north).
