Today, 17 May, The Dilly opens its doors for the first time on 21 Piccadilly. The five-star hotel in the heart of London will also have its own dance studio, called Inspiration 2 Dance, helping Londoners learn to dance.

The studio is available for group hire and team building as well as individual dance lessons in ballroom, Latin and other dance movements.

Inspiration 2 Dance founder Viktoriya Wilton, who has been helping Londoners learn to dance for more than a decade, says, “During these times, it’s particularly wonderful to work with a 5* hotel that recognises the importance of dance to keep minds sharp and positive as well as bodies toned and flexible.”

Private lessons for up to two people are currently available to book, but for group lessons of up to 20 people, you will have to wait until 22 June, in line with current Covid regulations.

“Inspiration 2 Dance is a discreet gem within our hotel” says James Olivier, General Manager at The Dilly. “We know dance can heal, it brings people together and it is great exercise – our guests can now think about including a lesson during their time with us, who knows where that might lead? Equally we want to shout out to those who could focus on learning a specific dance for a special occasion – check in with us and take it at your own pace over a few days of practice,”

Private dance lessons start from £90 for an hour (£850 for 10 lessons). Group dance lessons will cost £290 for a group of up to 20 people per hour.

The hotel is not just about learning to dance. Room rates start from £219. Visit www.thedillylondon.com to book either a dance lesson or a central London stay.
